The Interpretive Center of Memories of Vila do Conde’s House of Mercy (Centro Interpretativo de Memórias da Misericórdia de Vila do Conde – CIMMVC) has been open to the public since July 13th, 2018.
With four floors divided into several spaces, Vila do Conde’s House of Mercy (Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila do Conde) thus intends to promote the dissemination and preservation of its estate and social works, highlighting the history of this institution and its works of art: paintings, sculptures and furniture.
Permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, conferences, a library and archives service are all intended to be placed here.
